PQube announces Legends of War: Patton getting 8th March Euro release

Publisher PQube has announced that their turn-based History Channel-licensed strategy game, Legends Of War: Patton, will be released on the 8th March in Europe for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

 
Legends of War: Patton, which is being developed by Slitherine, features turned-based tactical combat where players can choose the weapons wielded by combants as well as manual aiming. The game also features light roleplaying elements as individual units can level up.

Players will be in the role of General George Patton in command of the US Third Army. They will have access to 36 different units including bombers and elite forces. The game features 21 missions including the march to Berlin.

Never been one for History Channel titles, and I'm afraid the subject matter here has been too well covered over the years. Interesting departure for Slitherine though, getting into the 3D side of gaming. Still, even with "CoH 2" on the way, it might be worth a look, and perhaps if good a purchase down the line when on sale.
