Kalypso Media announces Haemimont's Omerta - City of Gangsters is now partners in virtual crime with MMORPG Omerta, which is a free-to-play gangster-themed browser game.
Launched in 2003 with 4.7 million registered users, Omerta lets Mafioso fans create their own crime families. Omerta - City of Gangsters will contain a voucher code for the MMO.
There'll be a chance to win some prizes once a player reaches the rank of Associate, with iPads, Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1s and 'thousands' of other goodies up for grabs.
"Mafia themed entertainment has always been an incredibly popular genre be it video games, movies or TV and the opportunity to bring the fans of Omerta and Omerta – City of Gangsters together is the perfect partnership," said Kalypso Global Managing Director, Simon Hellwig. City of Gangsters is a simulation with turn-based combat set in the 1920s.

Atlantic City, New Jersey has been recreated in Omerta - City of Gangsters, with players given the chance of operating the seedy underbelly of the prohibition era city. All simulation aspects are handled in real-time such as business and minion management. Combat between lackeys takes place in a turn-based style.
