Marvel Heroes dev diary deals with the effort replicating superheroes in-game

Gazillion has released a new dev diary for their upcoming free-to-play MMO Marvel Heroes, where players can become their favorite superhero and go on missions.

In this dev diary, Gazillion discusses how each superhero like Thor or Spider-Man are built from the ground up, from modelling to texture mapping to animation to sound effects.

I don`t really see how this game would last more than 1 year at most with DCUO and Guild Wars 2. It just doesn`t seem as good,i mean in here you have a top-down view of your hero and hotkeys while in DCUO you control your character like you are the character.

Might get a boost by "Iron man III" but that would be about it. "DCUO" can get pretty repetitive after a while (and sometimes with uneven and spiking difficulties), though this is the sticking point with all MMO's at some stage.
