Around 100 extremely dedicated fans of both George RR Martin's fictional Westeros from A Song of Ice and Fire (Game of Thrones) and Minecraft have combined the two, in a four month long project.
They have amazingly recreated iconic landmarks from the immensely popular fantasy world, including the main city of King's Landing. It's part of a larger project known as 'WesterosCraft: A Game of Blocks'.
Their ultimate goal is recreate all of Westeros in Minecraft. The construction of King's Landing apparently took over 4 months with around 100 people chiselling away.
I don't envy the guys on Creeper patrol. There are said to be around 3,000 buildings in this recreated King's Landing, with fully decorated interiors. Take that you lazy LEGO city builders. Many of those areas already put together have been extensively captured and uploaded to YouTube.
