Paradox Interactive has revealed that it's working on a new title called Leviathan Warships, which is in development for PC, Mac, iOS and Android tables.

Leviathan Warships is described as a top down arcade ship combat game that will feature cross compatibility across all platforms. Mutliplayer is said to be the main focus.

Expect to find out more soon as we gather more information from the Paradox Interactive Convention in Iceland, Reykjavik.

IF it's a tactical format, this could work...but with the whole touchscreen thing in there if it's just a sort of shoot em up style game it'll be pretty dreadful for a PC release. (which will probably cost more than the iOS version)

Touchscreen never was,is or will be as good as kb & mouse, and no doubt it`ll cost more than that version even though there is absolutely no difference between the two.

I'm skeptic of this kind of multi-platform games as well. I understand when a game is designed for both consoles and the PC cause they're both dedicated gaming platforms but tablets still seem a bit off to me when it comes to gaming. But I'm obviously a core gamer, casual doesn't really do it for me. And neither do I have a tablet so I'm also obviously biased here.

It's kinda nice to see them branching out though, we need guys like Paradox to be as independent as possible.

Paradox is sort of a weird mid-level publisher/developer. Seems like a happy medium I think, overall I quite like them.

Oh there are hardcore games on android and iOS phones and tablets noc and they`re pretty damn good i might add,the problem is the touchscreen controls, they truly are the worst controls,by putting my finger on the screen i obscure part of it,some have managed to fix that by having part of the screen for the controls and the rest for the cinematics but it still doesn`t change the fact that while touchscreen may be nice it`s still probably the worst way to interact with your game.

I'd be interested. After the failure of the PC-only "Naval War Arctic Circle" I need a good, if arcade, naval wargame. "Anomaly Warzone Earth" was all of the above things, yet it translated more than well to the PC.
Then there's the "iBomber" series that is simple, portable-friendly yet absolutely addicting on PC. A lot of these touch-screen games translate very well on PC when you start using M+KB for precision gaming.
