EA to debut Battlefield 4 in next 90 days

During Electronic Arts' earnings call last night, EA labels president Frank Gibeau stated that it will be showing off Battlefield 4 in the next few months. Gibeau didn't go into specifics, and would only say that the announcement would come sometime at or before April.

It was during this call that EA also stated they'd be taking Medal of Honor "out of the rotation".

They've not yet released the last of the DLC's for "BF3" and already this is on show. I think perhaps I will beg off this time around as it took just far too long to get "BF3" in a workable state, and still there's the occasional server drop.
Dice, stop going up against "CoD" - you'll lose. Just develop as you used to.

It's a solid shooter but lacks community support ie mods/maps

EA/Dice don't allow Mods and Maps. Mods are ticked as cheats in MP, and only the maps you purchase are listed for inclusion if you rent a server. So no, you can't have the Mods and Maps that "BF 2" has.
A fun, yet often frustrating experience (cheats and elitists really tick me off), in small doses for me.
