The Dragonborn expansion for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is finally available on Steam; the content had been exclusive to the Xbox 360 for just over three months.

The expansion allows players to explore the island of Solstheim and come into contact with the Skaal and Dark Elf settlers. Some of the new content includes new shouts, spells, Daedric spells, as well as new dungeons, creatures, and weapons, including Bonemold and Chitin armors and Stalhrim weapons.

The downloadable content costs $19.99 USD / £14.

I don't see the point of continuing after you've already finished the main story and basically saved the world, you're pretty much a demigod at that point and none of these new guys can even start to entertain you with their deaths.

I may try this in a year or two when I get Skyrim nostalgia. For now, I'll pass.

No, It's about time this came out! 3 months of this 360 exclusive non-sense is enough! BASTARDS, also I blame Microsoft more since there the ones who offered the deal in the first place.

That right there is a good reason to boycott it. Vote with your wallet - they'll listen.

Normally I'd agree with you, but shouldn't a purchase count as a vote for a pc gamer? Not buying isn't going to help pc gamers.

I'm with nocutius on this one. Giving people stuff to do after they finished might draw people back to the game... if they didn't also have to part with a sizable wad to do so. I think it's mainly going to sell to people who cannot get enough. People who are on their third play through because they want to see how they get on as a mage that joins the Imperium, as opposed to a mage joining the Stormcloaks or a warrior joining the Imperium.

I noticed that the extra achievements for the DLC is already in the list for the game, whether you own it or not. While I find that stupid and annoying, it's prolly a smart move to ship a few extra units to the OCD crowd.

I was so waiting for this - but after so many hundreds of hours of the game I have a hard time to actually go back to Skyrim. The old games had a lot more of how to build your character differently. Make spells and items were fun. Here you have a limited setup of freedom and you can become great at everything all the same very easily. starting a new character feels like it will end up the same - only different apperance.
