Gloin DLC now available for Guardians of Middle-Earth XBLA, PSN later

Warner Bros. Interactive has announced that a new hero, Gloin, is now available as DLC for the Xbox Live Arcade version of Guardians of Middle-Earth. The PSN version will be available "soon".

Gloin was one of the 12 dwarves who was a member of Thorin Oakenshield's party in The Hobbit, and is the father of Gimli, the dwarf of the Nine Companions in The Lord of the Rings.

One of the Warrior class, Gloin's abilities include:

* A Bit of Fire: Damages nearby enemies and gives Glóin haste
* Durin’s Line: Damages all enemies in a target area
* Dwarven Stubbornness: Increased resistances and lights enemies on fire that strike him
* Mighty Axe: Medium range area attack with damage and stun

Warner Bros. Interactive also announced that for a limited time PlayStation Plus members can download Guardians of Middle-earth for free between the 4th February through to the 4th March.

Good-oh, but I'll stick to "The Battle for Middle-earth II" which I'm enjoying playing over again after a long time sitting on my shelf accumulating dust.
