Deep Silver has announced that a custom Ford Ranger pickup truck decked out with fully armoured windows, rear mounted mini-gun, lethal spiked wheels and a menacing front end barricade is touring the UK to promote Dead Island: Riptide.


Aside from appearing at various events, the publisher is offering prizes for fans who spot the truck and upload photos on Twitter with the hashtag #RiptideTour. Deep Silver is even coaxing retailers to advertise Riptide, stating that the truck will visit stores who have the best-dressed Riptide window displays.

Dead Island: Riptide is due to be released in April 2013 for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
