In their financials to investors, Warner Brothers has revealed another Batman: Arkham game is due soon as they expect to post a "very strong year in 2013." Revenue hopes are pinned to the Dark Knight.

Rocksteady Studios is said to be uninvolved with this particular Batman release. It's unclear if they mean calendar or fiscal year 2013, but either way a new Batman action adventure is swooping in.

For fans of the much beloved Batman: Arkham franchise it will be troubling that Rocksteady aren't behind the effort. The full transcript is available via Yahoo! Finance.

Uh-oh, sounds like they're doing this Hitman Absolution style, might be good like Absolution was, but still not as good as the older games.

If the new makers are creative and good at coding for the PC - we might actually be better off... *sarcasm*

Still, I feel that I have bought my lesson with Aliens Colonial Marines for this year, so any new games have to pass some more reviews and demos...

With Warner claiming that the next "Batman" film will be based on the "Arkham Asylum"/"Arkham City" games I can see the next offering as exceeding the previous two in sales.
If however the PC port is worse than "Arkham City"'s was (DX11 implementation was shoddy at best), all bets are off.
