Paradox Interactive has announced the release of Impire, a new action-strategy title developed by Cyanide Studios Montreal, is now available digitally.

The game is a dungeon building title in which players developer an underground lair while managing and commanding an army of demonic minions.

The story, according to the press release, is as follows: "Impire tells the Impudent tale of Baal-Abaddon, an Impatient and Impulsive demon Imprisoned in an Impractical Imp body by the Impotent and Impaired sorcerer, Oscar van Fairweather. The situation is Imperfect, but not Impossible; Baal will have to Improvise to Impress allies, Impede and Impale raiding parties of Impolite heroes, and Improve his Impish body to reclaim his Imperial throne. Okay, we’re done."

Gamers can buy the game from most digital distribution channels for $19.99 USD, including GamersGate and the official site.

Do we know if a demo is available? I refuse to buy into new IPs on day one without one...

What is it with Paradox and their loving of dungeons and everything that might reside within? They have a real affinity with them.

Exactly, who doesn't like throwing people to the dungeons?
I guess people living in sunny parts of the world could be excused since it's widely know that too much exposure to sunlight hurts the part of the brain dedicated to the love of "dark damp places that provide complimentary torture".
