Remember The Last Guardian? If you're having trouble shaking the cobwebs loose no one would blame you. It's been in development for a long time and it's been "restarted a number of times," says a former dev.

Kenny Linder, of the now defunct Sony UK studio BigBig, claims The Last Guardian is heading for PlayStation 4. He also refers to PS4 as Orbis, which was the codename.

"It's PS4. It's been PS4 for a long time now," said Linder, posts a NeoGAF user. They're unsure if it would be a launch title for the next PlayStation platform, but it has been PS4 for a while.

"I don't know, but I know it's been in development on Orbis for a long time now. It's platform has been questionable for nearly two years, but the last time it was restarted (it's been restarted a number of times), it was moved to Orbis."

The Last Guardian has us play as a boy who befriends an initially hostile 'guardian' that warms up to us and helps protect us from harm. They also aid us in solving puzzles to traverse crumbling ruins. February 20th is the expected announcement date for Sony to finally come clean about PlayStation 4.
