Gears of War 2 to appear in GamePro's February edition

The US magazine GamePro has unleashed the next cover art for its February edition, which reveals that Gears of War 2 will be featured in this issue of the magazine.

The pictures shows two references to Gears of War 2, one on the top and then a picture on left side of the magazine which shows the old logo with a number 2 spliced onto it. If this is an announcement or further information confirming its development than you would have thought it would get the front page premier, but a Rainbow Six: Vegas 2 preview has claimed that fame.

GamePro hasn't even mentioned Gears of War 2 on its page promoting the February edition of its magazine, only stating that it'll have Rainbow Six Vegas 2 goodies along with an important announcement about the game on Monday.

avatar Apparently this month's Games Developer's Conference to be held in San Francisco will be the likely venue for it to be officially announced. Rejoice!

avatar I had to play it on X360, and while I am a veteran with PC shooters, playing it with controller is really strange. I have to say I didn't liked it, and still don't in any console shooter. But GoW1 was good, so I forced my self gently into playing it.

avatar Hehe, it is a little strange to transfer from a long playing pc to a very rear using console , at last for me it was...Specialy in FPS category.

avatar Well this was always coming, I'm just hoping it's gonna have a slightly revamped engine and more open, exploratory levels.

avatar i agree with Kres seems to me like it would be hard trying to play a game that i need like 20 buttons to play would be kinda hard to play with a little Controller.
