Looks....unbelievable. Think I'll stick to just watching the "PotC" quadrilogy from time to time, if I can ever bare watching cringe-worthy Depp again (the actor who can't act).

I tried my hands at Brotherhood and absolutely loathed the game and the game mechanics. Controls just screamed console and after only 30 minutes - I uninstalled and never got back into it.

I played the first one with keyboard and mouse (a multi-button mouse that is) and it is just not M+K friendly at all.
These titles epitomise console ports and multi-platform, even if they did pay a little more attention to the PC for the first game (I don't where or how, but they claimed to have).

You must have hated computers when they used 8 pin joysticks.

Joysticks are cool and reasonable, the old controls for Joysticks works since ther wasn't much of control inputs. In mech games and flight sims joysticks make sense, especially since they work with a movement that is easy to correlate to - turn left - joystick to the left etc - controllers - not so much. They are made for a certain type of games working with a certain setup of games. Even the old controllers you had were better and for that instance - take the old - really old - console controllers that had a joystick and action buttons: they are the best ;)
