Amazon.com temporarily halts selling SimCity digitally

The serious issues plaguing developer Maxis' SimCity reboot have forced Amazon.com to stop selling the digital version of the game.

The game is listed as "Currently Unavailable: We don't know when or if this item will be available again," with the later explanation, "Many customers are having issues connecting to the "SimCity" servers. EA is actively working to resolve these issues, but at this time we do not know when the issue will be fixed. Please visit https://help.ea.com/en/simcity/simcity for more information."

Strategy Informer will continue follow the situation as it develops.

Good move, all others should follow until the main issues are resolved.
That's the only thing that would teach EA a lesson.

Good move - now shut it all down. Publishers and gaming companies have to start taking responsibility for their products to consumers, just like everybody else!
