Bungie has teased a new wallpaper screenshot for their upcoming massively multiplayer shooter Destiny, depicting a "Titan riding a Pike".

Check it out in the image below. The game is due to be released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 initially, then for PC, Xbox 720 and PlayStation 4 beyond that.

I'm dubious about this game. I have to ask, but what are Bungie's plans for subscription for Xbox 720 users? (Rhetorical question, btw.)

Next-gen machines reportedly will address free-to-play. But you can bet Sony will be following Microsoft with an online subscription service like Xbox Live Gold, since it made MS oodles of money.

Didn't they just state at PS Meeting 2013 that PS4 version would release at the same time as other platforms.

@JonahFalcon
Doubtful they will force you to pay on PS4 for online, but it is likely they will add in a new subscription tier for Gaikai functions.

Yea, but then the issue of how much am I going to pay? Will I be paying £40 per annum for XBL as well as £49 for my Destiny subscription, or will M$ be shelling out for me from my XBL fee? I doubt they will...

Swift: Wanna bet? Sony kicked themselves for free peer-to-peer because online matchmaking sucked, connectivity sucked and it encouraged rampant piracy and hacking intrusions.

Why do you think they came up with PSN Plus? It was a half-assed way of getting some of that online subscription money.

They're talking about new server side features for the PS4 - that costs money.

@Jasca: Doubtful. Both the 720 and PS4 are supposed to be geared to support FTP.
