The official Battlefield twitter feed gives a teasing glimpse at something "straight from the video editing suite", which tells us to 'Prepare 4 Battle' along with the date of '03.27' and some up-close shots of tank treads.

EA and DICE are imminently due to announce the next entry in the Battlefield series now that DLC production is all wrapped up on Battlefield 3 after End Game.

"Straight from the video editing suite: Prepare 4 Battle - 03.27! This sneak peek now, more soon," tweeted EA. Battlefield 4 will release before April 2014, which lines up this October pretty nicely.

So we get to see what has been cut from "BF3" and will now be boosted as a full retail release.

I am very worried about the next release...

...with good reason, Kres. I think it will try to be even more like "CoD" than the disastrous attempt made by "BF3", that only really shone in it's true "BF" MP.

I don't care about SP really. They don't need to include it at all IMO. So just really looking forward to seeing what they do. I'm interested in seeing physics updates. Strange awkwardness in BF3 vehicles. It felt wrong as soon as I got into anything. It ruined it for me for the start. But they did get my money anyway... hence wont jump into IV without thinking this time.

Only saving grace for the ground vehicle was the boost ability. Otherwise they were like driving a tyre-less car on the Nürburgring with a think layer of ice covering it.
