Crystal has "no plans in place for any single player expansions" to Tomb Raider

All downloadable content for Tomb Raider presently in the works is multiplayer based and that's the way it's apparently going to stay. There'll be no singleplayer additions like more hidden tombs to solve.

This is a little odd considering how easy it would be to sprinkle in some more tomb puzzles to crack. The Japanese island is still largely unexplored by Lara. Caves and Cliffs is the latest DLC.

Tomb Raider, even the new one, is definitively singleplayer but Crystal Dynamics appears to be done with Lara's personal journey, which is a pity given how great it was.

"There are currently no plans in place for any single player expansions," global brand manager Karl Stewart commented during a Reddit AMA. "All of our DLC is based around the multiplayer experience for now." The tombs within the rebooted Tomb Raider are all optional and have some head-scratching puzzles to overcome - they're pretty neat.

Caves and Cliffs is now available for Tomb Raider on Xbox 360 for 400 MSP adding three new multiplayer maps.

Thats sad. The Singleplayer was exceptional. It's been quite some time since I enjoyed a game as much as this, had hoped for alot of good DLC to keep the game going, maybe a bit in the Assassins creed way.

MP is like s*** in this game, but SP is great, so I think this is bad decision really...
Because of weak MP in this game, MP stuff should be free for this game.

LOL - well, then I guess then that as soon as a cheap version for the SP game is on-line - I'll get that and won't bother with GOTY and stuff at least :)

No survival or horde modes will doom the MP to a very short life!,A shame.
