Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 dismemberment DLC permanently cancelled

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 was originally scheduled to include full dismemberment of limbs. City Interactive was eventually forced to remove the feature so the game wasn't banned in Germany, before suggesting free DLC would reinstate the design in territories that allow it.

Unfortunately, that promise has now been cancelled.

"I can confirm that CI Games are no longer going to be releasing the dismemberment DLC," a CI spokesman told VideoGamer.

No reasons have been given dismemberment's permanent dismissal, but we'd give our left arm for it to be included at some point. Would you?

A bit "John Rambo" anyway, I say let's keep the realities of modern warfare on the battlefield.
"Now, where is my dismemberment DLC for "Rome 2 Total War"?", is the first question I'll be demanding of CA.

As brilliantly demonstrated in "John Rambo", along with sundry delicious scenes of gratuitous splatter. 30mm cannon does a better job - ask anyone on the receiving end of nose gunner of an Apache.
However, in a sniper game I think not, unless using a shottie with .00 shot which can take a leg off at 10 paces.

Now in Roam swordycuffs, it's right at home and I demand scenes from "Gladiator: Blood & Sand" to be revealed.
