|2K offers "no comment" as XCOM website cleared and trailers 'made private'|

It's a conspiracy! 2K Games has apparently pulled the website for their announced XCOM shooter, which has already been plunged into uncertainty more times than a probe into someone's [REDACTED].
The official site now returns a 404 error, and the marketing trailers via 2K's YouTube channel have been reclassified as 'private' so they can't be viewed. A G-Man cover-up!
Already rumours were abound that 2K was dramatically altering what form the game was taking, with it now believed to have taken on a squad, third-person shooter flavour.
A spokesperson for 2K told Polygon that the company "has no comment about the sites being down today."
