The development of Prison Architect is chugging along nicely as Introversion's Chris Delay announces the release of version Alpha 9 to those who've pre-purchased. We can now put those prisoners to work.
To save money at our correctional facilities we can start handing our mops, sponges and overalls to our prison populace. Also introduced is the visitation room so inmates can chat to family.
A new workshop and laundry room means we can have them printing license plates and washing clothes, with the rooms entirely run by prisoners. Dangers lurk within.
In a future version, promises Delay, we'll be able to see our prisoners learn skills from working in the workshop and even have the opportunity to pay them a wage. Visitations are also now being introduced which has a prisoner's family come spend time with them. Smuggled contraband will eventually plague these rooms.
A new video explaining the features of Alpha 9 has been posted - watch it below.
