PS3 is "lead platform" for Skate 2, original not "up to par" with 360

In an effort to deliver the same experience for Skate 2 on both the next-gen platforms, EA Black Box producer Jason DeLong has revealed their strategy.

They'll focus on PS3 as the lead so they don't make the same mistake again, they want the finished item on both systems the same so you wouldn't "be able to tell the difference."

"The PS3 has been our lead platform," DeLong confirmed, speaking with GAMER.tm.

He explained that they took this decision due to "the PS3 version Skate not being as good as the 360 version," and added that it "was something we learned very quickly that we had to remedy on the second one."

"The goal is that if you put both versions side-by-side, you will not be able to tell the difference," he concluded.

A noble goal indeed but one Xbox 360 fans are unlikely to let slip on by without a fuss here or there.

Well, they did make the first game a bit, ahhem, worse on PS3. They don't look like they are going to make things any better.

Remember people, this is EA we are dealing with...

Xbox fanboys always make a fuss about when someone says this or that is gonna be better on the Ps3, like Bioshock and the new demo, they're all cussing because of the Big Daddy's texture. HELLO IT'S A DEMO! Big daddy's texture must be like 1Gig on the BR disc. Erm, skate right? I Thought Only Tony Hawk had games like these :P.
But seriously, i'm sure this game will bring some eyebrows up from amazement.
