Hideo Kojima has revealed in a web radio show that the team putting together a Zone of the Enders, referred to as the Ender's Project, has been dismantled. Its creator wants to take stock of the franchise.
Kojima-san wants to ask fans again if they'd like a sequel to ever happen, given the 'disappointment' fans endured with the ZOE HD Collection's move from 30 FPS to 60.
He believes such as action heavy game like Zone of the Enders deservers nothing but the smoothest gameplay, and so reveals a sizeable patch is being worked on.
Apparently the entire HD Collection is being re-worked by his team and will be released as a free title update via the PlayStation Network. For the time being there is to be no update released for the Xbox 360 version. Kojima-san offered no time frame for when this update would be released.
Zone of the Enders HD Collection released on Xbox 360 and PS3 in late October and November.
