Off-the-wall Far Cry 3 total conversion Blood Dragon may be getting a sequel, as actor Michael Biehn dropped hints of this on Major Nelson's podcast.

According to Biehn, creative director Dean Evans told him he was excited about making a followup to the $15 USD game. "Dean was with me on the phone last night," Biehn related, "He was pretty jacked up. He was going into a meeting today. I think he wants to turn it into some sort of franchise. He's got a sequel in mind."

Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon was announced on April Fool's Day, making gamers think it was a practical joke, especially with the arcane way it was introduced, but soon discovered it was real.

The total conversion standalone mod earned rave reviews, including an 8.0/10 score in Strategy Informer's review.

Doesn't really seem like it should to me, Too much of thise might get dreadfully old even if this little title was a wonderful breath of fresh air.

Poor old Michael, he just can't get a break these days. His directorial debut where he plays a soft-hearted psychopath was straight-to-DVD flop and his voice-over in "A:CM" was woeful.
Now this. I hope he does better as I haven't seen him to anything worthwhile since the "Dune 2000" live motion videos.
