The publisher has announced that DLC for the upcoming action-adventure with Lady Croft in Underworld will pack some meaty downloadable extras.

The two chapters they plan to release will be only available to Xbox 360 gamers and should add around 6 additional hours of gameplay; one this holiday, the other in '09.

The first chapter is called Beneath the Ashes and continues on from where the full game concludes adding new environments and enemies.

Lara's Shadow is the second chapter and will bring "a new kind of playable character" to the formula say Eidos.

The first is expected to be ready for the approaching holidays while the second is due sometime next year; neither have a price point yet. Eidos also announced a demo for Underworld will be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace soon.

Tomb Raider Underworld is being released on Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, DS and PC this November 18th.

Why is M$ paying publishers to get additional content? That's plain stupid. Console Wars is stupid Imo. Oh well, as long as games like Tomb Raider continue to be perfect, who am i to judge them?
