|Wargaming.net opens registration for North American eSports league|

The Wargaming.net League North America is now open for business as the studio brings World of Tanks to the eSports crowd Stateside. It's team-based antics and intense action makes it a "perfect match for eSports".
Three seasons are involved where competitors battle for $100k in prize money. 7 vs. 7 skirmishes will separate veteran tank commanders from the learner drivers. Season one begins June 5th.
Registrations are open via the . The first qualifiers will run until June 23rd, with group stage matches between July 11-27, with tie-breakers July 28th.
The season finale runs August 17-18 which will be broadcast online. "World of Tanks is a perfect match for eSports, thanks to its addicting combination of team-based tactics and intense action," said Caleb Fox, Wargaming.net North America's head of eSports. "The launch of the Wargaming.net League North America is going to give all of our players in this region their chance to show that they have what it takes to be considered the best of the best."
A global World of Tanks tournament is planned this year to celebrate the studio's 15th anniversary.
