|15th office for Wargaming.net opens in Tokyo, to launch World of Tanks in Japan|

Yasuhiro Kawashima is named the general manager of Wargaming Japan, which is the group's 15th studio to open, and will be leading the launch effort for World of Tanks in Japan as they continue world domination.
CEO Victor Kislyi says there's "no possible way we can ignore" the Japanese market as they expand. Free-to-play is "growing by leaps and bounds" in the videogame capital.
The new digs are focusing on publishing duties like marketing, PR, customer service and support for World of Tanks as their treads roll out over Japan's free-to-play community.
"As Wargaming continues its global expansion, there's no possible way we can ignore the importance of the Japanese market," said Victor Kislyi, CEO of Wargaming. "Besides being one of the major video games markets in the world, it's also a place where free-to-play gaming is growing by leaps and bounds."
"We'll be staffing our new Tokyo office with the best and brightest from the country, all with the goal of providing our players there with an incomparable customer experience," he continued.
