The next Call of Duty is subtitled Ghosts and is now available to pre-purchase on Steam, for a hefty £44.99 / $59.99. The product listing has been updated and it confirms "user-initiated events" in multiplayer.

They also mention floods and earthquakes that can "fundamentally alter the flow and strategy" of matches. Activision also teases an exclusive weapon camo pre-order from Gamestop.

If you pre-order Call of Duty: Ghosts today via Gamestop then a special Ghosts camo is available to use today in Call of Duty: Black Ops II, which is the game footage shown.

The Steam page for COD: Ghosts has been updated to include a full description and feature-set.

"Armed with a new next gen engine, Call of Duty®: Ghosts redefines the franchise’s hallmark multiplayer experience. Dynamic maps bring earthquakes, floods, and user-initiated events that fundamentally alter the flow and strategy of every fight. Also, with unparalleled character customization, players have total control to tailor-make their soldier. These are just two of the many innovations going into the Call of Duty®: Ghosts multiplayer experience."

Call of Duty: Ghosts releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC November 5th.

"Hefty $59.99"? Try $89.99 for Aussies!
Two words: "No way, Jose". Well three words really, but I'm not paying extra for the added word count.

60 euros here mate,we`re getting screwed as much as you do,with this price tag why even pre-order,the idea of pre-ordering is that you blindly entrust the dev with your money and as such you pay less than full price, the bloody price-gouging acti does is worse than steam`s.

You're right it's quite silly, why would I pre-order and pay the full price :).
Costumes, skins, hats and the like don't do it for me and I have no intention of supporting cutting out game content to be used as any kind of a "bonus" like with RTW2 and Greek states.

why Ā£45 on PC may i add, for as long as i can remember, the extra Ā£10 on the console versions price tag was to pay the fee for developing the game for the console, not the PC one

I'm guessing the water level is going to rise about 6m in several seconds on the entire map and we're going to have to dive around the map for the rest of the match.
No monies from me, no no.

Yepp! I did get the latest Tomb Raider game, even though it is a full fledged consolitis title - but I got it so cheap and I do feel like supporting Pratchet and see what it is all about...
