A teasing video has been published showing a bunch of fake twitter accounts bombarding Lionhead Studios with questions and statements about 'remaking the original Fable'. Hence, it is now a thing.
At the end Jack of Blades declares he's back after being away from us all for so long. Also at the end is the Xbox 360 'jump in' slogan, so likely it's an XBLA release.
Update: HD remake is named 'Fable Anniversary' . "The whole thing has been redone," Lionhead's Ted Timmins told . Due on Xbox Live Arcade this holiday. 1080p visuals with Unreal Engine 3.
Original story follows
The Fable developer has been spotted sprucing up their studio's community forums in the run up to E3 next week. Is this all Lionhead has planned for Fable at this stage?
The original Fable was quite the gem with arguably some superior mechanics over its predecessors. "Here's a sneak peak at a little something we've been working on..." posted the UK team. Worryingly there was no mention of PC. The fake tweetings mentioned Fable TLC which refers to 'The Lost Chapters', an add-on that included cut content.
Fable released back in September 2004 on Xbox, and year later on PC.
