Paradox Interactive has announced that empire-building in Europa Universalis IV will commence August 13th, with pre-orders available on practically every digital platform that exists in the universe.
They also detail some pre-order bonuses with a 100 Years War unit pack, and two others to be named. However an Extreme Edition also includes three content packs.
Any pre-order at $39.99 will get you the first three bonuses, of which only one is known for now, but the pricier $44.99 Extreme Edition includes some meatier DLC.
"Europa Universalis IV gives you control of a nation to guide it through the years and create a dominant global empire in the age of exploration, providing unprecedented freedom through the use of exploration, trade, warfare and diplomacy to let you rule your nation however you see fit. Strategists will face ruthless AI in an extensive single-player campaign, or be able to backstab friends and foes in 32-player online matches," blurbs Paradox.

It launches for PC, Mac and Linux August 13th.
