For those who'd like some anonymous online Battlefield gaming, DICE actually plans an "invisible mode" to be patched into Battlelog, with their current "goal to introduce new privacy before BF4", but that could slip.
This should keep players hidden when they're logged in, and mask what servers they've picked, which would help cut down the online stalking and trolling. Battlelog is DICE's social stat-tracker.
Of course forcing everyone to be visibly social in a game like a first-person shooter... is not always such a good thing, hence why fans have been wanting an 'invisible mode'.
"It's our goal to introduce some new privacy before BF4 release, but plans could change. Invisible mode is the top priority," DICE Battlelog developer Filip. Battlefield 4 releases on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC October 29th in the US, November 1st in EU. It will also release for Xbox One and PS4 at a later date.
