'Merciful' PC specs for Fallout 3 unveiled; piggy banks snort relief

The ransom or 'requirement' list for Bethesda's upcoming Fallout 3 is quite tame meaning old rigs need not quake in fear.

If you've got yourself a Pentium 4 you're basically set, though a nice dual-core will move things a lot better. You can cease plans to 'expedite' your inheritance now.

Obviously having a powerhouse PC will deliver the best and most crisp quality but basically if you can run Oblivion then you'll be okay with Fallout 3.

Minimum System Requirements:

Windows XP/Vista
1GB System RAM (XP)/ 2GB System RAM (Vista)
2.4 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent processor
Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 256MB RAM (NVIDIA 6800 or better/ATI X850 or better)

Recommended System Requirements:

Intel Core 2 Duo processor
2 GB System RAM
Direct X 9.0c compliant video card with 512MB RAM (NVIDIA 8800 series, ATI 3800 series)

avatar Unfortunately i Can't have everything on max, only games Like area 51 or so, that are from 2005. It's because i still have an AGP graphics card and a P4 2.0Ghz Processor.

having problems with your name, I vacuum cleaned my keyboard yesterday among other things and it sucked my "h" key. Using copy paste for all "h"'s at the moment.
