The Elder Scrolls Online developer Zenimax Online has revealed in a new FAQ that the PC/Mac OS, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the free-to-play MMO would have their own servers.

According to the FAQ, "The megaserver technology featured in The Elder Scrolls Online will allow PC (Windows OS) players and Mac players to play together. Xbox One players will play on their own megaserver as will PlayStation 4 players."

Neither the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 versions will truly be free-to-play, however, as both consoles will require a subscription for online play; Xbox Live Gold for the Xbox One and PlayStation Plus for the PlayStation 4.

I wonder how well this game is going to do? I mean we have always wanted to have multiplayer in Elder Scrolls, and now it's being turned into an MMO.

Mp in an TES game is not the same as TES MMO,i would like this to do well but who can really say. I would honestly prefer Bethesda worked on TES 6 rather than this but oh well, you take what you can get.

Why would I want to play something that is even less free and made easier than the games I'm already missing and having to spend it with other people getting in the way and then have it as a solo-option? Just make a huge expansion instead...

That and you won`t be able to use mods with TESO unlike an sp game so yeah,TES 6 please.
