Jetpacked dragons are still ready to rule the skies in Divinity: Dragon Commander, but their take off has been delayed until August 6th. All who pre-order with GOG.com, past or future, will receive a free treat.

A DRM free copy of Master of Magic will be made available. The 1994 strategy and role-playing game "introduced many innovative elements" to the genre. Retail copies all feature GOG.com downloads.

If you bought Divinity: Dragon Commander at retail but lost the disc then no worries because included in every copy is a free digital backup from GOG.com.

What's Dragon Commander all about?

Real-time Strategy: Command your sea, land, and air forces in real-time. Combined operations and determining the perfect locations and times to strike are crucial to every victory.

Dragon Combat: During real-time strategy mode, transform into a dragon to support your troops in combat and obliterate the enemy using powerful dragon abilities.

Turn-based Campaign: Direct your conquest on the turn-based world map; plan several moves ahead, build formidable armies and invest in the right upgrades for technology and magic.

Check out GOG.com's store for more information and to pre-order.

Good idea giving a reward for hanging around and not cancelling pre-orders, though a newer game would have been better, GOG.com being all about older games aside.
Still, looking forward to this one.

Considering the ambition of this title, definitely like that they aren't afraid to push it back a bit.

It does look interesting, the strategic map seems a bit simplistic but it doesn't detract from the experience since it's not the focus of the game.
