Magrunner: Dark Pulse out today on PC, blends action and physics

Developer Frogwares has an action/physics title in the vein of Portal for us on PC. It's called Magrunner: Dark Pulse, but don't think some quirky AI with snappy quips awaits you. This is much darker and moodier.

It prefers to manipulate physics through head-scratching puzzles in a more psychologically scarring way. It sees technology confronting the 'Cthulhu Mythos', describe Frogwares.

I don't think they're even going to dangle the promise of cake in front of us? What kind of twisted creation is this?! Hopefully the PC launch trailer will clear that up.

"You are Dax, one of seven Magrunners selected among the elite to participate in MagTech Corporation’s space training program. But, what should be the chance of a lifetime quickly becomes a horrific nightmare.” We use a magnet gun that messes around with polarization of objects, before shortly getting a visit from a dimensional hell rift.

Magrunner: Dark Pulse unlocks a little later today on Steam.
