|17 year veteran Todd Hollenshead leaves id Software|

Bethesda has confirmed that videogame veteran Todd Hollenshead as parted ways with the studio he'd run for 17 years, id Software.
According to Bethesda marketing and public relations VP Pete Hines, "After many years with the studio, Todd Hollenshead decided to leave id Software to pursue other personal interests. While Todd was not part of the development teams, he was an integral part of id Software's success as the business head of the studio and we wish him the very best in his future endeavors."
Hollenshead was CEO at id Software from 1996 through to 2009. After ZeniMax acquired id Software, he took on the role of studio president.
id Software has suffered a rocky period under ZeniMax, with the commercial failure of Rage and the troubled development of DOOM 4.
