The first developer 'chat' video has been released by 5 Lives Studios for their Kickstarter project of Satellite Reign, a spiritual successor to Syndicate Wars. It's just shy of 5k backers pledging around £142k.
The game's design team are talking morality, character classes and on the simulation powering the cyberpunk city. They also announce that Satellite Reign has landed on Steam Greenlight.
The Kickstarter has achieved 40% of funding in just 4 days. The grand total goal is £350k, with the studio teasing many stretch goals in mind if the pledges keep rolling in.
"We've got our first video update for you, a design chat between four members of the 5 Lives team. Sorry for the delay on this one, we've had some technical issues," posted 5 Lives. "In this video, Dean, Mitch, Chris and Mike discuss some of the questions we've seen raised, such as "Good vs Evil," character classes, and more on the city simulation."
