|BioWare's Update 2.4 "shaping up to be very big" for Star Wars: The Old Republic|

The next major game update for Star Wars: The Old Republic is due August 6th which adds two new level 55 Flashpoints, and focuses on the galaxies corporations. You also get Treek, a new companion Ewok.
The team is already busy with Update 2.4 which adds a new planet with a "short story arc" dealing with the Dread Masters. This involves two new Operations, a new Warzone and new Elder gear.
From July 23rd a two week return to the Relics of the Gree Event will fire, which will scale up to level 55 as per request, which provides better loot and rewards.
Their previously announced Bounty Contract Week event will commence August 13th which provides "new missions with full voice-over that will take you on a hunt for high-value bounty targets across the galaxy," explain .
"Each bounty contract scales to your level, from 15 to 55, providing experience, credits, commendations, and reputation with the Bounty Brokers Association. Players will have opportunities to interrogate informants, make dark and light side decisions, and kill or capture their ultimate target. Each time you take a contract, it has a chance to play out a little differently, depending on the information you gather during your hunt."

October 1st is the tentative date BioWare has for Update 2.4, which is "shaping up to be very big."
