Two weeks ago, Gearbox not only that next-gen consoles would be getting Borderlands 2, but that the last DLC in the Season Pass, Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep, would not be the last content released for the game.
At a PAX Australia panel, Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford detailed what new content will be coming to the studio's shooter/RPG.
The new DLC pack, the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 2, will raise the level cap by 11, and will add a new Digistruct Peak Challenge. The pack will also allow the game to "over level" to make it more difficult for expert players. The new pack will be out before the 31st October and will cost $5 USD. It will not be a part of the Season Pass.
Another DLC, T.K Baha’s Bloody Harvest, is a remake of sorts to the original Borderlands DLC The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned, with a boss battle against the pumpkin king, Jacques O’Lantern.
Pitchford also announced a free update that will increase the maximum amount of ammo, increase the total number of available bank slots, and increase inventory capacity, which can all be purchased in-game with Eridium.
Finally, Gearbox stated one or two packs will be released in the future as well.
