Stop everything! Later today we'll finally get to know more about the Battlelog system that DICE has put together for Battlefield 4. Hopefully it'll involve more external game launches and Internet browser plugins. Yay.
Oskar Gabreilson is the producer for Battlelog, and he'll be part of the upcoming trailer. Maybe we'll get to launch matches from within the game again? Fingers crossed.
"We're releasing a first glimpse of #Battlelog for #BF4 with a trailer later today - stay tuned!" the official Battlefield account. They tweeted a picture too.
Battlelog has become DICE's premier stat-tracking, friend-stalking social hub for their Battlefield series, and it's even spawned Autolog for the Need for Speed franchise. DICE has become quite the exporter of game systems for internal development at EA. What are they going to call it for Star Wars: Battlefront?
Place your bets:
Battlefield 4 releases on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 October 29th in the US, November 1st in EU.
