1C Company revealed today that it's working on the development of Men of War: Assault Squad 2, which will release exclusively for the PC in Q4 2013.

Men of War: Assault Squad 2 features new single player style skirmish modes that take players from tank combat to sniper stealth missions. Multiplayer has also been improved, with opponents now battling against each other on new multiplayer 1v1 – 4v4 maps. You'll also be excited to know that a new 8v8 game mode has been designed for huge battles on massive maps.

This sequel also brings significant game engine and visual improvements as well, with special attention paid to ones that were highly requested by the players. These included items such as advanced multi-core support, advanced shader technology, interface and AI improvements, as well as added camouflage depending on season/map, fully updated inventory items with new graphics and updated vehicles, sound improvements, Steam functionalities (Steam Cloud, Workshop, multiplayer and match-making) and much more.

Men of War: Assault Squad 2 is scheduled for release in Q4 2013 exclusively for the PC.

Oh yes! Just been playing "Assault Squad" and "Theatre of War 2", so I am well and truly ready for this. Bit disappointed with "CoH 2", or what I've seen of it, and honestly having more fun with "Achtung Panzer: Operation Star" and it's plethora of excellent DLC's.
Look forward to hearing more...."new single player style skirmish modes". Drool!
