Take 2 CEO Strauss Zelnick revealed during an investor call today that both BioShock Infinite and Borderlands 2 were big earners for the publisher in the past quarter.

According to Zelnick, BioShock Infinite has shipped 4 million units and is expected to become the top-selling entry in the series, especially with three DLC packs coming out for it, including Clash in the Clouds which was released yesterday.

Borderlands 2 has shipped over 7M units, and is on track to be the best-selling game in 2K Games' history, which may be why the publisher has commissioned more DLC packs from Gearbox.

Interestingly, Strauss gave a special shout out to the iOS version of XCOM: Enemy Unknown, which he stated proved "gamers are willing to pay a premium price for premium experience."

Gale, those numbers show shipped copies, not sold ones but to be fair if you were to add the digital sales the numbers would probably be higher than that.

But still, retail stores wouldn't buy them if they didn't think they will sell.
