BioWare has begun a new program to reward players for getting friends to sign up to Star Wars: The Old Republic, including their very own battle droid pet, which comes in five flavors.

According to the developer, "All active Subscribers can refer new friends or invite back previous Subscribers by using a simple referral link." The referred friends receive the Jumpstart Bundle for faster leveling, while friends coaxed back to The Old Republic will get seven days of subscription access, one Complimentary Character Transfer for the lifetime of the account, and the Preferred Friends Bundle with special convenience and customization unlocks.

Finally, the player who referred the friend will get Cartel Coins, the Kurtob Alliance Speeder, and Battle Droid pets provided the friends become Subscribers within 14 days of joining.

Gamers can get the referral link here.

But i probably wont go back to play it again.
My time in that game is over until they implement space battles :)

It seems that SWTOR is dead... Which is too bad, cuz I was going to play it again (Preferred Player ;-p)

I would like this game more if it were "old school SW" instead of (new) Old Republic :)

What really turned me away from this game is that it was getting really boring, no access to forums even though I'm a preffered player, no customer support and insanely slow client download speed (It took me 3 days to download the full client even though I could have downloaded something of that size in a fraction of that time).
