The King of Fighters XIII will finally be hitting the PC platform two years after its console release on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. On the 13th September, it will be available for purchase on Steam.

The Steam Edition will include online multiplayer, tutorial and story modes which are upgraded from the console versions, as well as three DLC characters (Iori with the Power of Flames, NESTS Style Kyo and Mr. Karate.)

Publisher SNK has also announced a lottery to pick 300 players who have preordered the game to beta test the Steam version.

Gamers can preorder the game now at a discount of 17% on Steam here.

I'm really curious if the Billy Kane character remains a console exclusive, or is also present in the Steam edition of the game. It's nice that SNK joins Capcom and NetherRealm on PC. Now, can we have some more of those type of games on PC, please?! Maybe next we'll have Tekken, Dead or Alive, Darkstalkers?!

Good, I've never been able to get the arcade rom working correctly on PC. Of coarse I didn't try too hard but the Taito Type X2 games that did work. Worked with out a hitch.
