The 'contractual issues' between Overhaul Games and Atari have been slain by a mighty isometric RPG party of lawyers, and so Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is available at your local merchants "once again."
This is great news for owners of the HD remake eagerly awaiting the "major" patch Overhaul have been working on. The team will also have "exciting news" for BG2 soon.
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition was released on PC, Mac and iOS. Specifics about the 'contractual issues' were never disclosed but it was enough to snatch the RPG from the shelves.
"We're back!" announced Overhaul Games boss Trent Oster. "Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition is available for sale once again. All outstanding issues with our publishing partner have been resolved."
"We'll announce the details of an upcoming major Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition patch and the Android tablet version in the near future. We'll also have some exciting news regarding Baldur's Gate 2: Enhanced Edition soon after."
"We want to thank our fans for the outpouring of support we received during this difficult time. Legal issues are never fun. We're glad we can once again focus on what matters - makin' videogames!"
