Developer Might & Delight is releasing their curious Badger den simulator next week for PC as it launches for Steam having graduated the Greenlight process. We play a mother Badger with kids to feed.
The team wanted a "strong emotional product," and they're chuffed to hear people have 'cried over Badger cubs'. Many of Shelter's creators once worked for Grin.
Pre-purchasing Shelter on Steam is priced at £6.99 / €8.99 / $9.99, with 10% off right now. As the cubs' mother we'll have to defend them from the forces of nature.
"We are not saying nature is cruel, however what the mother and her cubs will experience is simply a fact of life," said lead designer Andreas Wangler upon. "There are no boss fights in this game. No good or evil elements. It's simply about survival and protecting your offspring."
"We went into production with the ambition to do a strong emotional product," said creative director Johannes Wadin. "Reading that people cried over the badger cubs while watching our trailers makes me feel that we have achieved our goal." Might & Delight's sells Shelter and Pid for $15, which includes Steam keys.
