IGN has discovered that free runner Faith is already deliver hot packages other than herself, she's only gone and given us a January '09 release date for Skate 2.

While sadly the date isn't any more specific than that, EA has confirmed it and it wasn't a typo of any kind. The "not so" subtle sell sheet was with the games manual.

While the reviews for Mirror's Edge are embargoed for a while longer, "that didn't stop us from rifling through the included manual and an interesting sell sheet," reports IGN.

"Said sheet has an ad for Need for Speed Undercover on one side, and Skate 2 on the other. In the bottom-left corner of the Skate 2 ad is a little tag that not so subtly says "In Stores January 2009". It doesn't get any more official than that."

Indeed it doesn't. Expect to be scraping virtual knees and injury 'delicate' regions upon ones virtual skating self early in the new year.

It's an EA title, I will wait and see if they screw the title or not, then try the demo. In my mind, it doesn't sound so hot but I never liked the FP view for platforming.

You do have a point there that it is made by EA. ':/

But on the other hand the game "Mirror's Edge" do's look like a good game to play.
