Good to see support already forthcoming. EA Redwood and Ubisoft Montreal should take notes on how Bethesda are supporting their big hitting title. Considering their is no MP to Fallout3, one still wonders at the number of "PC-specific issues" that still slip past beta testers.

According to NG4, the Patch won't be released today, but until later in the week, There is already a cracked patch available on Torrent, which is not a good state of affairs for legit gamers, so Bethesda might want to look at leaks from their company.

What good is the patch to me, us, that have already finished the game...

Kres, you already finished the game? In that over-buggy state? Your the man! I just can't play a game that crashes every hour or so... or if you have to shoot a guy 10 times in the head to kill him! :D

Haven't read what the patch would fix, but for me the game runs beatifully, though I have to admit that after I installed my Lunchbox edition (which took painstakingly long time - fuck you very much SecuROM!) I applied a patch that kinda removed the need to have the disc checked each play ;) I had read about many crashes as such and well, I have been around NWN and other SecuROM games and no cd patches usually makes most of such crashes go away. Pain in the butt stupidity!

So in light of that, seems to me that perhaps Bethseda should have made another thought about which provider of CP/DRM they chose?

I had 1 or 2 crashes throughout the game. So not really buggy to me at all. I minded A.I. glitches.

And 2-3 headshots with a good weapon is the most that's needed to kill even the most toughest sons of .......

Headshots should take down anything realy.

Yeah well I guess that they could've made it harder to get headshots. Since they're often very easy to get. 50% or more of my shots were headshots. So yes they need to lower % chance for the aim.

I'm not sure I agree with you regarding the % thing here. I found that I get very low chances to score a head shot or any other part many times even though I'm crouching, have maxed out small arms...

Also annoyingly the interior in some places gets in the way, last night a minelurk should have bought it after a nice sneak up and lining upp five shots with my 10 mm pistol at close range, but all five shots took a tubing instead...
