|Creative release Patch 3 for Total War: Rome II|

The third full patch for Total War: Rome II is now live and available via Steam for would-be Emperor's and Barbarian Kings. It features "over 140 technical, gameplay, balancing and usability" enhancements.
Among them are "significant improvements" to multiplayer campaign speed, a kick to frame rates for all specs, more campaign optimisations, and even a desktop icon touch-up.
The full changelog for Patch 3 is available on the official . The next patch is due for beta soon. Creative Assembly have pledged as many patches as needed to appease fans.
Technical issues have dogged the strategy sequel which launched early in September. Aside from graphical and frame rate issues, the time it takes for AI factions during 'end turn' has left many enduring lengthy tea and coffee breaks as they wait to get control back. Creative have been working to lessen computation times.
