Ubisoft has now also released the PC specifications for Watch Dogs, and its curtains for those old 32-bit operating systems as the hackable Chicago only supports the finest in 64-bit architectures for Windows.

At minimum they say Watch Dogs needs a Quad Core processor and a DirectX11 graphics card with 1GB VRAM, whereas the 'Ultra' recommendation is the latest eight core chipsets.

The PC community has long trumpeted its horn on being the best in terms of fidelity, and now Ubisoft is letting us prove our mettle by skipping 'low spec' machines.

The system specifications for Watch Dogs were found on the Uplay website, spotted by NeoGAF, but have since been pulled down by Ubisoft. Thankfully there's a little something called copy/paste - it's a PC exclusive feature... Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag requirements are out and they're 64-bit only as well.

Watch Dogs releases on PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 November 19th in the US, 22nd in EU. Xbox One and PS4 at launch.

I'm not interested in this game but I applaud the developer for going 64 bit only. We've had 64 bit processors/architecture for ages now so it's about freaking time the software moved forward.

Looks like that there was a blunder and the system requirements will be lower. Also both games ( Watch Dogs and Assassin Creed 4 ) will suppor 32 bits OS ( Vista and higher ).
